Glazing Superintendent
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Superintendent who is responsible for overseeing all aspects of field operations on glazing and panel projects. This leadership role ensures projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in commercial building, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of curtainwall, storefront, and architectural glass systems along with wall panel systems and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all field crews and subcontractors on-site.
- Interpret shop drawings, specifications, and installation details to ensure proper execution.
- Oversee installation of curtainwall, storefront, window wall, glass, panel, and related systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company standards.
- Coordinate equipment, materials, and labor for efficient project progression.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure workmanship meets project requirements.
- Communicate daily with project managers, general contractors, and suppliers.
- Identify and troubleshoot field issues, conflicts, or delays.
- Maintain accurate documentation of site activity, progress, and change orders.
- Train and mentor junior foremen and installers.
