Client is a very bright 21yr old female with a Gtube. During the day you’ll be disconnecting her from her feeds and getting her ready for her day and during night shifts, you’ll be providing her with her feed and helping her with her nighttime routine. She is truly an inspiration. She just completed her bachelor’s degree and will be going for her masters in the fall. The client is looking for someone to tag along with her as she lives her best life as you’ll be accompanying her if she wants go to her favorite store or just get out of the house. She lives with both her parents and has her own room in which there is plenty of extra space for you to do your charting comfortably. They have a small dog, a yorkie poodle.

Responsibilities Of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
Medication administration per physician orders
Physician ordered treatments for:
Nutrition via a feeding tube
Tracheostomy care
Suctioning — nasal, oral and/or endotracheal
Ventilation care
Seizure assessment and treatment
Requirements For Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
Current, active Florida LPN license
Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
1- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
