Location: Central Florida
Compensation: $65k-$85k+ Base + Commission (Additional $10k-$20k)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a driven and dynamic Sales & Design Consultant to sell full-service residential renovation projects to homeowners and industry partners! The ideal candidate brings strong design sensibility with technical accuracy, pricing expertise, and business development skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Client Experience

• Collaborate with clients to develop functional and aesthetically cohesive design solutions
• Create and present design concepts for interior spaces
• Guide clients through material selections
• Ensure designs align with client budgets, timelines, and project scope

Quality Control & Plan Review

• Review design plans and specifications from internal team members for accuracy and completeness
• Identify and correct errors related to measurements, materials, layouts, and installation details
• Ensure all drawings and plans are installation-ready and aligned with project requirements
• Act as a final checkpoint before projects move into production/installation

Estimating, Pricing & Proposals

• Prepare detailed project estimates, proposals, and take-offs
• Analyze project specifications to develop accurate pricing across all product categories
• Work closely with vendors and internal teams to confirm costs and margins
• Ensure proposals are competitive, accurate, and profitable

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and pursue new clients, partnerships, and project opportunities
• Build relationships with builders, contractors, designers, and homeowners
• Attend industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to generate leads
• Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through project close

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in home improvement, interior design, construction, or related industry
• Experience with estimating, pricing, take-offs, or proposal development
• Ability to review technical drawings
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and client presentation abilities
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., 2020, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) is a plus
