How You’ll Shine
As a Event Support Representative, your responsibilities will be to confirm arrival dates of upcoming vacation reservations for guests who have purchased a vacation package, provide customer service to owners booked for events, and support the Event Planning and Sales teams in finalizing guest lists for Party Weekends events. We are looking for an individual who will respond to our owners and potential owner needs in a timely, professional manner, reducing package cancellations and increasing show rate, tours and VPG by utilizing outstanding communication skills, innovative thinking and promoting Wyndham’s Lead with Heart philosophy. This position is essential to maintain our arrival, revenue and tour volume.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Make outbound calls to guests who have secured travel dates for a Party Weekends by Wyndham marketing package and confirm their arrival date to increase show rate and tour delivery to the sites.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of production pace while providing excellent customer service.
- Provide customer service functions for owners on both outbound and inbound calls including.
- Updating account information and guest lists.
- Processing requests to cancel or reschedule dates.
- Answering questions about event details including itineraries, accommodations, tickets etc.
- Communicating special requests to the event planning team, including accessibility requests and dietary restrictions.
- Handling customer escalations.
- Communicate updates and changes to the business operations, event planning, and telemarketing sales teams, and rescheduling coordinator to keep the event manifests up to date.
- Pro-actively contact guests who need to be moved out of events for policy reasons based on the terms and conditions of the offer.
- Provide support to the management team with reasonable tasks and projects as assigned with comprehensive, confidential, and professional disclosure of incidents and escalations where required.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- Must have a minimum High School Diploma or GED, College Degree is preferred.
- Successful completing of on boarding training.
- All associates are responsible for ensuring that they remain up to date on all required courses.
- Participate in coaching sessions.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts to include weekdays, evenings and weekends to suit business needs.
- Attend meetings as required.

- Must have the ability to be persuasive and informative with excellent problem solving and strong customer service skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Exceptional listener with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must have the ability to deescalate customer situations and sway decisions.
- Must possess a positive, outgoing, professional demeanor, be self-motivated, detailed oriented and able to work independently.
- Must demonstrate solid judgment and firm decisions, vast product knowledge, marketing systems knowledge in addition to excellent problem solving skills.
- Demonstrate professionalism and excellent customer service skills with all customers, both internal and external, maintaining a positive brand image and company reputation.
- Ability to work in a goal and performance based environment.
