We're looking for a talented Bookkeeper/Accountant & Office Manager to maintain our financial records and support our daily operations. You'll be a vital part of our team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.

What You'll Do:

Manage Financial Transactions: Accurately record day-to-day financial transactions, including AR/AP and remote deposits.
Process Payroll: Handle weekly payroll processing.
Reconcile Accounts: Perform monthly bank account reconciliations.
Maintain Supplier Accounts: Verify, post, and reconcile supplier transactions.
Create and Manage Invoices: Generate and manage invoicing processes.
Prepare Financial Reports: Produce monthly and year-end financial reports.
Maintain Bookkeeping Policies: Ensure adherence to bookkeeping policies and procedures.
Support Construction Projects: Assist with documentation and coordination for construction projects.
Office Management: Manage mail, maintain records, and handle general office duties.
Run Payroll: Process payroll weekly.
Manage Mail: Open, sort, and distribute mail daily.
Create Invoices: Generate invoices for clients.
Track Insurance Certificates: Maintain records of insurance certificates for audits.
Facilitate Audits: Assist with internal and external audits.
Manage General Ledger: Oversee the general ledger.
Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable: Handle all aspects of AR and AP.
Arrange Cash Flow Projections: Prepare cash flow projections as needed.
Produce 1099s: Generate subcontractor 1099s and other year-end IRS requirements.
Uphold Monthly Close: Supervise and manage the monthly accounting close process.
Arrange Reconciliations: Prepare monthly reconciliations, financial statements, and supporting documents.
Manage Check Processing: Verify, log, and mail checks, including expediting special handling.
Document Management: Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents.
Vendor Communication: Contact vendors for payment inquiries.
Insurance and Mortgage Audits: Assist with insurance and mortgage audits.
AIA Documents: Manage and work with AIA documents.
What We're Looking For:

Accounting Experience: Previous experience in accounting, finance, or related fields.
GAAP Knowledge: Fundamental knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Software Proficiency: Experience with QuickBooks, Appfolio, Excel, and Word.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to Detail: Deadline and detail-oriented.
Communication Skills: Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Education: AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business, or related field (preferred).
AP Experience: Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired.
Expense Reports Experience: Experience with expense reports required.
AIA Documents Experience: Some experience with AIA documents.
