PrideStaff on behalf of a client located in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a calm, organized, and reliable Dispatcher who will be the primary contact for incoming non-emergency requests.
Responsibilities:- Receive and process incoming non-emergency calls from the public, clients, or field staff.
- Coordinate the schedules and routes of field technicians, transport units, or service personnel.
- Monitor the real-time location and progress of field units to provide accurate ETAs to callers.
- Log detailed information into the dispatch system
Qualifications:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on active listening.
- A strong spatial sense and the ability to read digital maps or GPS data quickly.
- A patient demeanor, especially when dealing with frustrated callers or busy field crews.
- The ability to type while talking and toggle between multiple software screens.
- Previous experience in logistics, customer service, or a call center environment
