Consumer Franchise Strategy Manager
Job Summary:
Disney Experiences (DX) Consumer Franchise Strategy team’s strategic objectives include using our unique intellectual properties to drive and sustain growth across our global businesses. Our vision is to create measurable value for the DX segment with a strategic Franchise approach that aligns with business needs and consumer insights.
As part of the Global Marketing Center of Excellence, you will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team that creates outstanding consumer-first strategies to drive relevance, increase affinity, and grow demand for our experiences. The DX Consumer Franchise Strategy team, which serves as a central source of consumer-driven, data-backed information on our IP/franchises to best deliver on business goals, maximize consumer lifetime value across our global segment and with the Enterprise to ensure alignment on company-wide franchise objectives and strategies. The team works with our global DX partners to evaluate long-term investment decisions around our ever-growing IP to deliver the right products and experiences to meet our guest/consumer needs today, and in the future. You will be a key member of an innovative, world-class team that turns every consumer touchpoint into a lasting connection to our iconic franchises and creates a continued love for our Disney brands, stories, and experiences.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, DX Consumer Franchise Strategy.
Responsibilities:
Develop, communicate and drive DX long-term strategies globally for priority franchises that expand audiences and drive commercial opportunity.
Drive incremental commercial opportunities across DX by exploring and identifying new opportunities for priority franchises.
Provide guidance to DX sites/LOBs on Franchise efforts and brand/studio marketing programs to ensure alliance with overall Franchise strategy, goals and objectives.
Define clear, actionable, relevant Franchise KPIs and ensure Franchise efforts across DX align with and deliver against these KPIs.
Develop an expertise on key consumer segments and leverage insights to drive strategic recommendations.
Work closely with the Consumer Insight, Measurement, and Analytics (CIMA) and Finance partners to define, monitor and analyze Franchise health and performance across DX.
Build and foster strong relationships with content partners, Studio Integrated Planning, Corporate Brand teams and Franchise teams across DX globally, to ensure effective partnership and collaboration.
Promote and foster best practices and knowledge sharing across DX.
Foster a team environment of collaboration, growth mindset, and innovative approaches to driving Franchise growth.
Qualifications:
5+ years of consumer marketing experience
Experience building positive inter-departmental relationships to achieve results
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Critical thinker with ability to strategically synthesize multiple insights and data sets
Previous work experience in marketing strategy, consumer packaged goods (CPG), advertising agency or brand management
Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and is a self-starter, proactive, and dependable
Technologically oriented (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Keynote, GSS)
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and comfortable navigating a matrix organizational structure
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent experience
