Schedule: 4/10 hrs/Week. - (2 nd shift)

About the Opportunity:

• Masking and Preparation: Covering components (connectors, switches) that must remain free of coating.
• Application using spray guns, brushes, or dipping processes to coating.
• Inspection and Quality Control, ensuring uniform coating coverage, often using UV light inspection.
• Curing and Rework operating curing ovens and repairing defects.

What You'll Do:

• Conformal Coating Operator/Technician manually sprays or dips PCBs and operates automated, computer-controlled conformal coating equipment (PVA machines).
• The Conformal Coating Specialist role is responsible for complex applications, inspecting, and masking.
• PCB Coating Technician (Rework/Touch-up) focuses on inspecting under UV light and repairing coatings to meet IPC standards.
• Production Technician (Coating/Plating) positions in larger facilities that include wet process work, such as plating, in addition to coating.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in PCB coating and electronics manufacturing.

What Sets You Apart:

• Previous electronics assembly or conformal coating experience.
• Good attention to detail, hand dexterity, and familiarity with chemical safety (MSDS).
• Familiarity with or certification in IPC-A-610 standards.
• Able to read/write English.
• Experience with electronic assembly and electrical testing.
• Paint Process.
• Paint Shop.
• Computer knowledge (email, accessing files, and SharePoint).
• Basic Computer Skills
• Knowledge of Basic Mechanical/Electrical Concepts.
• Paint Process Techniques.
