Position Summary:

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking Mail Clerk with experience working in the acute care setting.

The Mail Clerk:

• Performs routine clerical and administrative duties.
• Filing, mail sorting and distribution to hospital departments.
• Driving and collecting mail from the local post office
• Answering phones, and data entry

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• 100-150 words per minute
• Microsoft office experience
• Moderate technology & computer knowledge
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of hospital materials, or distribution clerk experience.
• 1 year of administrative assistant experience.

Preferred but not required:

Associate degree

Supports the hospital by operating switchboard. Answers, screens, transfers incoming and outgoing calls. Monitors alarms and code situations to activate notification systems when directed.
