LOCATION: US SOUTHCOM Doral, Florida

Position Overview:
Serves as an administrative executive assistant for the Chief of Staff Office (COS)
Job Duties:
- Manage calendar and schedule meetings in support of operations within the Chief of Staff office.
- Plan and coordinate travel in support of mission requirements.
- Coordinates with the various joint directorate staffs to integrate and disseminate decision support documents for EXORDs, OPORDs, CONPLANs, and strategic operations in support of the Command's coordination requirement.
- Coordinates logistics, develops communication, administration, and staff activities directly supporting the Chief of Staff.
- Facilitates interoperability of joint staff systems and processes to ensure the Chief of Staff can supervise and manage joint command processes as required to execute CCDR's priorities.
- Coordinate with the various J3 Divisions and other SOUTHCOM Joint Directorate's Staffs to integrate and disseminate documents including staff estimates and correspondence, EXORDs, OPORDs, CONPLANs and other documents in support of the Command's coordination requirements.
- Coordinate logistics, develop communication, administration, and staff activities directly supporting the Deputy J3.
- Plans, interprets joint policies/doctrine during combined exercises and training to prioritize the Command's battle rhythm to obtain CCDR's decision in support of Combatant Command joint operations.
- Acts as the office manager by keeping up with office supply inventory, screens and directs phone calls, directs correspondence, and organizes and maintains office filing systems.
- Oversees J3 staff actions addressing the Joint Staff, Components, and Interagency coordination issues.

- Professional with outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Experienced working in a team environment and working with others to achieve mission goals
- Experienced in developing strategic assessments as directed by the COS.
- Manage COS calendars and schedules.

Required Qualifications:
- Possess outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Experienced in using MS Office tools, IT systems, DTS/Travel systems
- Experience in organizing, scheduling travel arrangements
- Experience overseeing and maintaining office supplies
- BA/BS degree or equivalent years in Business Administration
Other Requirements:
- Active Top Secret Clearance Required to Start
