Construction Administrative Specialist
Construction Administrative Specialist Full-Time Ocala, FL, US

Quest is seeking an administrative professional to serve as an administrative support specialist for transportation projects. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and clerical support for roadway construction projects. Job responsibilities include general administrative functions such as transcribing construction progress meeting and pre-construction meeting minutes, document control including scanning and attributing construction project documents into the electronic document management system, entering forms for the engineers' weekly/daily reports, organization of FDOT correspondence and maintaining various construction tracking logs. Must have the ability to be adaptable to changing conditions, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
Candidates must be willing to work in person in Ocala.
Responsibilities:
- Document control, including scanning and attributing project documents into an electronic document management system
- Entering forms for the engineers' weekly/daily reports
- Organization of project correspondence and maintaining various tracking logs
- Answer phones as needed
- General administrative functions such as transcribing construction progress meeting and pre-construction meeting minutes
- Must have the ability to be adaptable to changing conditions, establish priorities, and meet deadlines
- Travel is required to construction field offices, with occasional travel to the Quest corporate offices in Land O' Lakes and Lake Mary.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the construction industry or similar
- 2+ years administrative work experience, preferably in construction or related field
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), required for use in completing assignments
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and able to multi-task
