Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Perception Engineer to join our team, focused on developing advanced perception algorithms for autonomous systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of cutting-edge perception solutions utilizing Lidar and 3D technologies, enhancing the performance and efficiency of our systems. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced perception algorithms using C++ and Python.
- Optimize run-time efficiency of perception systems for real-time applications.
- Implement algorithms for processing Lidar data and integrating 3D models.
- Utilize CUDA for parallel computing to enhance algorithm performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of perception systems.
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes on Google Cloud.
- Conduct performance evaluations and iterate on algorithm designs based on testing results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in C++ programming.
- Strong understanding of perception algorithms and Lidar technology.
- Experience with run-time efficiency optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with CUDA for parallel processing.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and related technologies.
- Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud (preferred), AWS or Azure.
