Litigation Associate Attorney

The West Palm Beach office of Kubicki Draper is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of civil litigation experience. Experience in insurance defense preferred.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Assist with evaluation of presuit claims.
• Communication with clients.
• Respond to demands.
• Draft and respond to discovery.
• Assist with and take (once trained) depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Learn trial skills and sit second chair at trial.
• Prepare legal research.
• Draft motions and attend hearings, attend inspections.

Requirements

• Previous experience in litigation, particularly in insurance defense, personal injury, bad faith, and catastrophic injury, is preferred but not required.

• Strong skills in legal research, writing, and persuasive oral advocacy
• Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing, required
• Stellar academic credentials
