Job Summary:
We seek an accomplished finance leader to drive our division's strategic financial planning and policy. In this pivotal role, you will oversee accounting, budgeting, reporting, and compliance, ensuring all financial operations align with organizational goals and regulatory standards. You'll present financial insights to executive leadership, advise on complex financial and risk matters, and represent the CFO in high-level forums. You will also lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, foster best practices, and consult on sophisticated transactions and audits. The Kind of Work You'll be Doing:
- Formulate financial policy and plans for the division/subsidiary to which he/she is assigned and provide leadership by developing the overall strategy and direction of accounting, budget, reporting, planning, and spending.
- Ensure that financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet the organization's short- and long-term objectives and regulatory body requirements.
- Act as a liaison between the US Finance Department and the field ministries at the direction of the Chief Financial Officer and the Ministry CFO Team Director.
- Present financial reports to the Board of Directors, US Leadership, and Executive Team, serve as a strategic partner on the Executive Team, and represent the Cru CFO in councils/gatherings of field financial leaders.
- Mentor/consult/advise the CEO and COO on complex decisions and internal controls for the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ regarding financial and risk matters.
- Coordinate compliance among various functions related to internal control, fraud risk assessment, legal and regulatory compliance, and compliance with different associations and groups (ECFA). Assist with the external financial audit, where applicable.
- Consult on complex financial transactions such as real property, intellectual property, and contractual obligations, and assist the US Finance Department in following up on and implementing recommendations from various internal audits.
- Build a strong team by providing direction, delegation, counsel, and expertise to individual team members and the team as a whole.
- Help establish and track clear expectations, objectives, and measures for individual and team members.
- Provide leadership to finance staff serving in the assigned Division or Subsidiary.

Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- 10 years of professional accounting experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
