The PM Manager on Duty (MOD) plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficient functioning of the hotel during the PM shift. Responsible for Managing the PM Shift in relation to all the departments in the hotel including, but not limited to Guest Service, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping and Engineering.
Examples of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following):
- Direct and manage property operations providing guidance during the evening shift, including but limited to Guest Service, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping and Engineering, to assure optimum performance and continual improvement.
- Direct and supervise hotel staff to ensure high guest satisfaction in all services provided.
- Assist in training and managing both front-of-house and heart-of-house teams.
- Oversee banquet functions and ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor daily cash transactions and ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to supervise daily operations at The Bistro.
- Handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievance and conflicts.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment
- Three (3) years of hotel operations experience, preferred
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and PMS, i.e. FOSSE
Education:
- High school diploma or GED; 3 years of experience in hospitality, hotel management or related professional area, OR
OR
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hospitality Management or business related major; 2 years of experience in the security/loss prevention or related professional area
