Job Description
The Legal Counsel will have varied responsibilities including:
- Assist the legal team with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements and gathering signatures for legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the travel/ hospitality/ air transportation industry.
- Support the legal team with collaborating and working with with outside legal counsel.
- Maintain the legal department's database, templates and standard contracts.
- Develop and implement legal strategies to minimize risks and protect company interests.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.

The Successful Applicant
The successful Legal Counsel should have demonstrable skills:
- A US law degree from an accredited institution.
- Admitted to the New York State Bar.
- At least 2-5 year's private practice or combined law firm and in-house corporate/ commercial legal experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaborative approach.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Eager to learn.
- Spanish or Portuguese language skills highly desirable.
- Candidates must have the right to work in the US now and indefinitely, the client is unable to offer sponsorship.
