Job Title: General Warehouse Associate
Location:  Hialeah, FL
Schedule:  Different shift available

Reports To: Abacus On-site manager 

Position Summary

The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations with a primary focus on loading and unloading boxes weighing between 5–15 lbs. This role ensures products are handled safely, efficiently, and accurately to support smooth warehouse workflow and on-time order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload boxes weighing 5–15 lbs from trucks, pallets, and staging areas.

• Sort, stack, and organize incoming and outgoing inventory.

• Prepare products for shipment, including labeling, scanning, and packaging as needed.

• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) if required.

• Assist with counting and tracking inventory.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding workflow and any issues.

• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to consistently lift, carry, and move boxes weighing 5–15 lbs.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Basic communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced warehouse setting.

• May involve varying temperatures depending on the season.

• Requires use of proper safety equipment (e.g., gloves, closed-toe shoes).

Schedules available:

Sunday to Wednesday 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Wednesday to Saturday 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Sunday to Wednesday 1:30 AM to 9:30 AM

Wednesday to Saturday 1:30 AM to 9:30 AM

Payrate $17.00/hour
