Job Description
The General Laborer supports maintenance and production operations by performing a wide range of hands-on tasks, including equipment installation, basic fabrication, and material handling. This role suits someone with strong general handyman skills who enjoys physical work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and consistently follows safety practices in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities
- Install small equipment and fixtures in support of maintenance and production requirements.
- Build and assemble shelving, worktables, toolboxes, and similar structures using wood and steel.
- Move, organize, and stage materials to ensure a clean, efficient, and well-ordered work area.
- Install wall-mounted fans, lights, signs, and related items as directed.
- Use general handyman tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete daily tasks.
- Follow all workplace safety rules and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Identify and report safety hazards, unsafe conditions, or near-miss incidents immediately.
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, climbing stairs, and standing or walking for most of the shift.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team and production staff to support changing operational needs.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in good working order and in a clean, organized condition.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Merritt Island, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
