Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid – 1 day onsite per week)

Type: Contract (3–6 months) with potential for permanent hire

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper with proven QuickBooks experience to support our finance operations in a dynamic staffing and recruiting environment. This is a contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent position after 3–6 months based on performance and business needs.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll and billing processes, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

What You’ll Do

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
• Process accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll entries
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting
• Collaborate with recruiting and operations teams to ensure accurate billing and contractor payments
• Maintain organized financial records and assist with audits as needed
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial workflows

What You’ll Bring

• At least 1 year of bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Experience in staffing, recruiting, or contingent workforce environments is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across departments
• Familiar with ADP RUN, Employee Navigator, and VMS Systems
• Comfort working in a hybrid setup with one day onsite weekly
