The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing commercial plumbing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards and client expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and safety. Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of commercial plumbing projects, from pre-construction through project closeout
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met
- Review project specifications, drawings, and submittals for compliance and accuracy
- Manage procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery
- Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies
- Supervise and mentor field personnel and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality assurance protocols, and company procedures
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to leadership
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall project and company success
This position requires occasional regional travel to project sites within Florida.
Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record. Overnight travel is rare but may be necessary for certain projects. Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience in commercial plumbing or mechanical contracting
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and construction processes
- Skilled in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and project deliverables
- Commitment to excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Sage 300 (Construction and Real Estate Software)
- Project Management Software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms)
