Quality Inspector - Fort Myers, FL

Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 Midnight

Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team in Fort Myers, FL . In this role, you will inspect aircraft oil tank components and finished assemblies to ensure they meet quality, safety, and engineering specifications. The ideal candidate has experience reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and performing detailed inspections in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect aircraft oil tank parts and assemblies for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Perform in-process and final inspections before products move to the next stage of production or shipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, damage, or nonconforming materials.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Report quality concerns and work with production teams to resolve issues.
• Follow all quality, safety, and compliance procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quality inspection, quality control, or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and nonconformances.
• Familiarity with CMM equipment is a plus.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Work Environment

This position is located in a manufacturing facility in Fort Myers, FL . The role requires standing for extended periods, performing detailed inspections, and working closely with production and quality teams in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Myers, FL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
