JF Restaurants is seeking passionate and detail-oriented Pastry Cooks to join our culinary team at Hamlin House. This is a unique opportunity to grow within an award-winning restaurant group while contributing to a dynamic and creative pastry program.

As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality desserts, baked goods, and pastry items with precision and consistency. This role requires strong technical skills, creativity, and a commitment to excellence in both flavor and presentation.

• Prepare and execute all pastry and dessert items according to established recipes and standards
• Assist with daily mise en place, including doughs, batters, creams, and garnishes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pastry station
• Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all pastry items
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and storage standards
• Collaborate with the culinary team to support service and special events
• Communicate product needs, inventory levels, and prep priorities
• Participate in family meal and overall kitchen support
• Assist with station breakdown and deep cleaning

• Previous experience in a pastry or baking role in a high-volume or quality-driven kitchen
• Knowledge of fundamental pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert preparation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
