Plumbing Estimator

We are an established plumbing construction firm known for delivering high-end residential and commercial projects across South Florida. We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Estimator who understands the nuance, precision, and foresight required to estimate and manage plumbing scopes on complex, detail-driven projects.

This is not entry-level estimating—we need someone who knows how to spot value-engineering opportunities, call out red flags in design docs, and confidently lead plumbing pricing during precon.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze plumbing drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed cost estimates
• Perform quantity take-offs and scope reviews using tools like Bluebeam, FastEst, or Procore etc.
• Coordinate with project managers, MEP engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment in pricing and logistics
• Identify cost-saving alternatives without sacrificing design intent or code compliance
• Participate in RFI development, VE discussions, and bid-day strategy meetings
• Stay current on local plumbing codes, permitting timelines, and market pricing trends

Requirements:

• 5+ years of plumbing estimating experience in luxury residential, commercial, hospitality, or institutional construction
• Deep familiarity with Florida building codes and permitting processes
• Proven ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and spec books
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., FastEst, Procore, QuickBid, Bluebeam)
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Field experience in plumbing or mechanical trades required.
