Basic Job Functions: The role of the Maintenance Mechanic-Shift is to be a great Nucor team member who demonstrates high levels of ownership by safely performing Preventative and Corrective maintenance on the millsystems & equipment. This position is also expected to work with the team to propose and implementsolutions to new and ongoing challenges in the steelmaking process, equipment, and business.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: • Mechanical Skills and Fundamental Knowledge
• Experience Troubleshooting Mechanical Systems
