Overnight Security Personnel

Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa is looking for a full-time Overnight Security Personnel.

A Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

As a Security Officer, you would be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

• Patrol the interior and the perimeter of the hotel and the property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks, and undesirable conditions.
• Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and/or property.
• Promote safe work practices.
• Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed · Writes reports and ensures the accuracy of the necessary documentation, as needed.
• Respond to all guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Assists the night audit team as needed.
• Complete other duties as assign.

The ideal candidate for this position:

• High school education, is required.
• Current CPR and First Aid Training certificates and TIPS training are helpful.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have an existing job permit to work in the USA.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills are required, with additional language helpful.
• Complete mobility is required; it may be necessary to carry people or emergency equipment during an emergency. Must be able to push, pull, carry and move items over 50 lbs.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• This is an overnight position, base shift hours are 11 pm-7 am.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be able to use PPE at all times.
