Yard Supervisor - Metal Recycling - Base Salary to 75k/year - Orlando, FL
- Our client, a high-volume metal recycler, is seeking a Yard Supervisor to oversee the daily operations and personnel in the yard.
- In this role, the Yard Supervisor should be well-versed in Nonferrous Metal processing and have experience leading and mentoring a staff. Ideal candidates will be dependable, organized and have exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the yard personnel- scheduling, hiring, training, discipline, etc.
- Schedule labor force as needed to handle production needs
- Ensure Operational Efficiency by implementing changes to improve flow and quality
- Ensure proper operation of Equipment
- Work closely with maintenance to schedule preventative maintenance tasks
- Oversee inbound & outbound material logistics, flow and quality
- Managed inventory & create system for critical spare parts
- Adhering to and enforcing Safety Protocols & Compliance Regulations
- Communicate with Retail & Commercial Customers
Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of Metal Recycling (NF) or Related Industry Experience
- 3+ Years of Hands-on Management Experience
- Mechanical Aptitude & Ability to Operate Heavy Equipment
- Bilingual is a plus
Compensation:
- Compensation for this role is comprised of a base salary up to 75k/year, plus discretionary bonus. Our client also offers competitive health benefits and a 401k plan.
