Job Title: Hotel Maintenance Technician (Drywall & Painting experience)
Location: Jacksonville, Florida 32207
Employment Type: 2 months project/ $17.00/hour
Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician with experience in drywall repair, painting, and general handyman tasks . As part of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our hotel maintains a high level of guest satisfaction through timely repairs and property upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform drywall repairs and patching throughout the property
- Conduct painting and touch-ups to maintain hotel appearance
- Handle general handyman tasks , including fixing doors, light fixtures, furniture, and other hotel fixtures
- Respond promptly to guest or staff maintenance requests
- Inspect and maintain hotel rooms and public areas for safety and appearance
- Maintain records of repairs and completed projects

Descripción del puesto: Buscamos un Técnico de Mantenimiento de Hotel cualificado con experiencia en reparación de drywall (yeso), pintura y tareas generales de mantenimiento. Como parte de nuestro equipo de mantenimiento, desempeñará un papel fundamental para garantizar que nuestro hotel mantenga un alto nivel de satisfacción de los huéspedes mediante reparaciones puntuales y el mantenimiento de la propiedad.
Responsabilidades clave:
Realizar reparaciones y parches de drywall en toda la propiedad.
Realizar trabajos de pintura y retoques para mantener la apariencia del hotel.
Realizar tareas generales de mantenimiento, incluyendo la reparación de puertas, lámparas, muebles y otros elementos del hotel.
Responder con prontitud a las solicitudes de mantenimiento de los huéspedes o del personal.
Inspeccionar y mantener las habitaciones y áreas públicas del hotel para garantizar su seguridad y apariencia.
Mantener registros de las reparaciones y los proyectos completados.
- Previous maintenance experience (hotel or hospitality industry a plus)
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
