The Aircraft Painter  plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GA Telesis processes. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing and painting aircraft components to the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will ensure that each part meets rigorous specifications and contributes to the overall performance and reliability of our services. This position is based in Medley, FL .

Responsibilities:

• Mask, sand, and prepare the article for paint application
• Apply glaze and sealing compounds in preparation for the final painting
• Operate and maintain all types of preparation and priming equipment
• Mix paints and primers
• Perform leading-edge sealant work in final detail
• Comply with all safety and housekeeping policies. Use personal protective equipment
• Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned
• Comply with Paint shop standard practices
• Comply with hazardous material disposal procedures
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass Pulmonary Function Test to obtain respirator certification
• Ability to use tools, equipment, and materials in the aircraft painting process
• Must have a great attitude and team player mentality and be detailed oriented- quality and precision-focused
• The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form
• Two years of related experience. Relevant experience gained in commercial/automotive refinishing is acceptable is a plus
