Position Description
Are you a customer service pro? Do you have a vision for creating positive experiences with clients? Schumacher Automotive Group in North Palm Beach is seeking a Full-Time Service Cashier Receptionist!
The Cashier Receptionist responds to customer inquiries, receives payments for service transactions and plays a key role in maintaining or creating customer loyalty to Schumacher dealerships.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Greets customers at the service area in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Receives payments from customers and issues receipts to customers.
- Refers customers who have questions about the work performed, additional maintenance, or repairs etc., to the service advisor or other appropriate individual.
- Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution.
- Closes all open invoices.
- Assists service department with telephone coverage.
- Provides clerical and secretarial assistance to service department.
- Other duties or projects as assigned by Management.
Who are we looking for?
- 2+ years' experience in a receptionist or customer service role
- Positive attitude. Excels at communicating with customers and staff.
- A professional with the ability to address and resolve customer inquiries or complaints.
- Proficient computer skills and attention to detail.
- Must be available to work Weekdays and some Saturdays
A valid driver's license. All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to qualify for employment. Pre-Employment testing includes a successful background check and drug testing.
Requirements:- High School Degree
- Proficient in computer skills
- 2+ years' experience handling customers and phone calls
