Position: Maintenance Engineer

Summary:

We are recruiting for a maintenance engineer for a Class-A office tower in the heart of Downtown Miami. The Maintenance Engineer supports the Chief Engineer and the Engineering team with the day-to-day operation of the property and provides support on a variety of building systems, ensuring critical systems are being maintained as per company and industry standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Work with and support contractors/vendors and building personnel.
• Respond to tenant requests and correct problems; make repairs as necessary.
• Provide hands-on service and maintenance of the building system.
• Assist engineers with operating and maintaining HVAC equipment.
• Maintain building support, safety, and security equipment.
• Maintain inventory of needed spare parts and tools.
• Respond to building emergencies.
• Assists Chief Engineer and Engineering team in the coordination of projects and maintenance tasks for engineering crew members.
• Assists Chief engineer and Engineering team with preventive maintenance programs for the building's mechanical systems.
• Maintain the preventative maintenance work order software.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Minimum two years of related experience

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Microsoft Outlook and Office package and EMS/BAS Software a plus.

OTHER:

• Requires shift work and/or on call duties.
• Successful completion of background screening.

Physical Demands:

• Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders) and safely install rigging/lifting devices
• Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine
