Real Estate Paralegal
We're seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join a well-established law firm in Lakeland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment and has experience managing commercial and residential real estate transactions from contract through closing.
Responsibilities
- Review title commitments and identify title issues
- Prepare closing documents and real estate transaction paperwork
- Coordinate commercial and residential real estate closings
- Conduct due diligence reviews and assist with transaction management
- Communicate with attorneys, lenders, title companies, clients, and other parties throughout the closing process
- Maintain accurate files and ensure deadlines are met
- Provide administrative and legal support as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Real Estate Paralegal in a law firm is required
- Paralegal Certificate required
- Experience with commercial and/or residential real estate transactions
- Strong knowledge of real estate closing documents and title review
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with ClosingVue is a plus
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
- $60,000 - $75,000, depending on experience
- Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and paid holidays
Location: Lakeland, FL (On-site)
