Zero Turn Operator / Grounds Maintenance – NAS Pensacola (Grounds Maintenance) $22/hr

Allserv, Inc. is hiring a Zero‑Turn Mower Operator to support our grounds‑maintenance contract at Naval Air Station Pensacola . This role requires reliable equipment operation, attention to detail, and safe mowing practices across large turf areas. Zero‑turn operators help maintain clean, professional grounds throughout the installation and work closely with the landscaping team to meet federal appearance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate zero-turn mowers and other landscaping equipment to maintain turf and landscaped areas
• Mow around buildings, fences, signage and obstacles with precision
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning
• Follow NAS Pensacola safety procedures , environmental rules, and base access requirements in addition to OSHA guidelines
• Assist crew leads with site tasks when Zero-turn equipment operation is not required – such as mowing, weedeating, edging, trimming and removing shrubs, blowing debris from roads and sidewalks, maintaining clean grounds
• Collaborate with team members to achieve high standards of grounds maintenance

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in landscape, grounds keeping (personal lawn care does not qualify)
• 1+ years experience operating zero-turn mowers or similar equipment, mowers, weedeaters, edgers, etc.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and safety procedures
• Positive attitude, self-motivation, and strong work ethic
• Professional appearance and ability to maintain a well-groomed look
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks outdoors
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including rain, cold, and extreme heat, humidity
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a federal background check (no felonies)

$22 per hour - Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with the occasional Saturday.
