HRIS Coordinator
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HRIS Coordinator for a contract/temporary opportunity supporting an HR department in Palm Beach, FL. This role is ideal for an HR Coordinator or HRIS professional with strong systems skills, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience managing employee data, digital files, and HRIS workflows. The HRIS Coordinator will play an important role in supporting an HR system implementation and data migration project. This includes downloading, uploading, organizing, and validating employee files across recruiting systems, HR systems, employee records, and an internal shared drive. This is a strong opportunity to contribute to a high-impact HR technology initiative while working with a collaborative team in a stable public sector environment. This position offers the opportunity to support process improvement, system rollout activities, employee file cleanup, and potentially the development of user-friendly training guides. For the right candidate, this temporary role may extend from 6 months to a year. Key Responsibilities - Support HRIS data migration by downloading files from current recruiting and HR systems and uploading them accurately into employee files and internal shared drives.- Organize, clean up, and maintain employee documents in SharePoint and other HR-related file repositories.
- Enter, update, and validate employee information in HRIS platforms, including new hire data and related employee records.
- Assist with HRIS implementation support, including file preparation, data accuracy checks, and employee file organization.
- Help create basic “how to” guides and user support materials for new HRIS processes as needed.
- Provide administrative and technical support to the HR team during system rollout and transition activities. Compensation and Benefits - Pay rate: $28.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/temporary.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support HRIS implementation and data migration activities.- Download, upload, extract, organize, and validate employee files across HR systems and shared drives.
- Maintain employee records and assist with HRIS data entry, including new hire information.
- Support SharePoint file cleanup and HR process documentation as needed. - 3 to 5 years of relevant HR Coordinator, HRIS Coordinator, or similar HR operations experience.
- Hands-on experience working in an HRIS platform, including employee data entry, file uploads, and file extraction.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems confidently and accurately.
- Experience managing digital employee files, HR documents, and shared drive or SharePoint folders.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when handling confidential employee records.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage repetitive, detail-heavy tasks efficiently.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to support employees and internal HR team members during system changes.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HR data handling best practices. Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience supporting an HRIS implementation, conversion, or data migration project.
- Experience creating simple training guides, process documentation, or employee-facing system instructions.
- Familiarity with SharePoint or similar document management platforms.
- Public sector, government, or highly structured administrative environment experience.
