Update DPS and GMMS with pre-move survey weight, dates, and address changes. Enter and monitor all preapprovals for accessorial services in accordance to the 400NG and International Tender. Interface with Military Transportation Offices, vendors, customer service, and operations regarding preapproval status. Assist Billing and Accounts Payable departments with resolving preapproval issues. Process and distribute all Government Bill of Lading documents Verify transit times to ensure the Required Delivery Date is accurate on all Government Bill of Lading documents. Update system with notes regarding changes and communication Job Skills Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly customer service oriented Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workday Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize work Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills required Excellent attention to detail and follow through Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in the moving industry preferred Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Excellent customer service and oral/written communication skills required. Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel. Must have strong data entry skills.
