Schedule: Full-time emergency department coverage
Highlights:
- 11 private patient care beds with dedicated trauma room in a new emergency department facility
- Projected volume of 12,385 visits in the first year, allowing for manageable patient flow
- Fully integrated with a Level II Trauma Center, providing seamless care coordination for complex cases
- Comprehensive diagnostic imaging capabilities including CT scan, ultrasound, and X-ray on-site
- Direct ambulance bay access for efficient EMS patient intake
- MEDITECH EMR system with streamlined handoff protocols to hospitalists, intensivists, and specialists
Requirements:
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM), or board certified in Family Medicine with extensive emergency department experience
- Current ATLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of three years full-time emergency medicine experience with at least 6,000 cumulative clinical hours
