Requirements

We are seeking an Expert/Guru-level Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in PL/SQL development , with a strong understanding of relational database design, optimization, and performance tuning . This is a highly technical, hands-on coding role requiring deep Oracle database programming experience in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
  

• Analyze and optimize existing PL/SQL code for performance and maintainability.
  

• Work closely with business analysts, architects, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
  

• Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  

• Support data integration and migration projects involving large data sets.
  

• Conduct code reviews, maintain documentation, and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
  

• Ensure data integrity and quality through efficient database procedures.
  

Mandatory Skills:

• Expert-level PL/SQL programming with minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience.
  

• Deep knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c/19c databases .
  

• Strong understanding of database design, indexing strategies, and query optimization .
  

• Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications .
  

• Experience with Oracle performance tuning tools and techniques (Explain Plan, AWR, SQL Trace, etc.)
  

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts , ETL processes is a plus.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle Apex or other front-end integration tools (optional).
  

• Exposure to working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  

• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting and job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, etc.).
  

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for database code deployment.
