Astra Surveying is a land surveying service working throughout Florida specializing mostly in construction. We are currently looking to fill a Surveyor position in the Fort Myers area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Stakeout support at survey construction sites.
• Prepare and analyze data using mapping and construction plans.
• Perform manual labor related to surveying needs, such as cutting brush for lines, carrying stakes, and/or pins and right of way markers delineate features of all phase's construction project.
• Maintain survey equipment (Survey grade GPS, robotic stations, Trimble equipment).
• Gather and maintain as-built information.
• Stock survey vehicles with proper amount of supplies.
• Function as part of a survey team, willing to follow detailed instructions.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must have high school diploma.
• Self-motivated. Able to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
• Clean driving record.
