The Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Senior Analyst, Environmental Science reporting to the Director, Global Private Destinations Environmental Programs.
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst, Environmental Science plays a key role in driving environmental stewardship strategies for Royal Caribbean Group’s private destination developments and sustainability objectives. This position supports complex land-based development projects by overseeing compliance, environmental impact mitigation, and program execution throughout the full project lifecycle. The role provides advanced analysis, ensures alignment with global environmental standards, and collaborates across internal teams and external partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads and supports environmental programs and initiatives for private destination projects from concept through operation, ensuring compliance and sustainability principles are embedded throughout.
- Conducts and validates high-level environmental impact assessments, management plans, and monitoring programs to mitigate potential risks and meet national and international regulatory requirements.
- Partners with cross-functional teams (Development, ESG, Operations) and external stakeholders to influence design strategies, construction practices, and operational protocols aligned with corporate sustainability goals.
- Monitors and analyzes environmental performance metrics, identifies trends, and recommends corrective actions or process enhancements for continuous improvement.
- Coordinates audits and compliance reviews, documenting findings and ensuring timely implementation of corrective action plans.
- Synthesizes data-driven insights into clear environmental reports and presentations for senior leaders and key stakeholders.
- Advises on emerging environmental trends and technologies related to energy efficiency, water conservation, waste minimization and climate resilience strategies.
- Supports incident investigations and leads initiatives to prevent recurrence of environmental nonconformities impacting development projects or operational processes.
- Influences policy development through research on global sustainability standards, incorporating best practices into RCG’s environmental policies and project frameworks.
- Maintains strong relationships with governmental bodies, auditing agencies, and consultancy partners to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and compliance oversight.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Ecology, Sustainability or related field required; advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
Experience
- 3+ years in environmental analysis or compliance within large-scale land development or infrastructure projects; experience with international environmental regulations strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing environmental programs with measurable sustainability targets in complex operational or developmental settings.
Working Conditions
