Tax Manager
Kforce's client, a regional CPA firm, is seeking a Tax Manager in Plantation FL. This role will oversee tax compliance, planning, and manage complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts. This firm has a good work life balance, good benefits, year-end bonus along with opportunity to advance to a Partner in the future. This role can work up to 1 day remote. Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients across various industries
- Maintain a client list and manage client relationships
- Research and resolve complex tax issues and stay current on tax law changes
- Assist in business development, proposal preparation, quoting, draft invoices for services, complete billing, and manage the entire engagement
- Implement and oversee budgets
- Supervise, manage, train, and mentor tax staff and seniors
- Assist in business development and proposal preparation, participate in the firm enhancement, marketing efforts, and various projects and initiatives beyond core responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation preferred
- 6+ years of public accounting tax experience with a CPA
- Strong technical knowledge and experience with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in tax software (CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx) and Microsoft Office
