Salary/Pay Rate : Min $100,000 - Max $117,000 (commensurate with 10-20+ years of experience).

Job Description :

As the Nurse Manager of the NICU , you will serve as the executive clinical leader responsible for driving the highest standard of neonatal care for our most vulnerable patient population. This role is a critical leadership opportunity where you will ensure the seamless, high-quality delivery of specialized nursing services. You will lead, mentor, and empower a team of highly skilled NICU professionals , overseeing the unit's daily operations, strategic staffing, and clinical workflow. Your core focus will be on monitoring and evaluating clinical outcomes and holding staff accountable to established, patient-centered policies and procedures, directly supporting the facility's mission of excellence. This position requires an agile, data-driven leader capable of balancing administrative oversight with deep, contemporary clinical expertise.

Required Skills :

• Active and Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of ACUTE CARE Leadership experience in the NICU within the last year .
• Minimum of 4 years of staff-level NICU RN experience.
• Ability to obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• Ability to obtain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 6 months of employment start date.

Preferred Skills :

• Advanced Nursing Degree (MSN, MBA, or related healthcare management field).
• Experience managing clinical outcomes and quality improvement initiatives in a high-acuity NICU setting.
• Proven expertise in budgetary oversight, fiscal management, and strategic staffing for a high-performance unit.
• Current professional certifications in Neonatal Nursing (e.g., RNC-NIC).
• A track record of retention, recruitment, and team development as a unit leader.
