Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year A bit about us: A well-established Florida insurance and personal injury defense firm representing clients in trucking, transportation, and shipping litigation. The firm defends companies that contract 18-wheelers and commercial carriers, handling complex personal injury and property damage claims stemming from major accidents. We’re seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney or Partner-level litigator to join our Fort Lauderdale office within the firm’s Transportation & Shipping group. The group remains busy following the departure of a senior partner (clients retained by the firm) and needs a proven trial attorney to take over an existing caseload. Why join us? Job Details Responsibilities: Manage a docket of 8+ active trucking and commercial litigation cases. Serve as 1st-chair trial counsel on complex personal injury and property damage matters. Oversee case strategy, client communication, discovery, and trial preparation. Collaborate closely with shareholders, associates, and clients on litigation management and resolution. Mentor junior attorneys and help strengthen client relationships. Qualifications: 10+ years of litigation experience, ideally in trucking, transportation, or complex personal injury defense. Florida Bar admission required. Proven 1st-chair trial experience strongly preferred. Excellent writing, advocacy, and client communication skills. Interested in hearing more?
