Job Description
Project Manager - Luxury Outdoor Living Construction
About SYZYGY Global & The Role:
SYZYGY Global is redefining outdoor living through luxury pergola systems that blend innovation, design, and craftsmanship. As we continue to scale, we’re seeking a highly organized, client-focused Project Manager to lead the successful execution of multiple high-end outdoor living projects—from initial design through permitting, construction, and final closeout.
In this role, you will be the central point of accountability for 70+ active projects, ensuring every phase moves forward on schedule and every client receives consistent, proactive communication. You won’t be managing people directly but will manage projects with precision and urgency, acting as the critical link between clients, internal teams, and field operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and are passionate about delivering excellence, this is the role for you.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Project Oversight & Progress Management
Own and drive the timely progression of a large portfolio of luxury outdoor living projects, ensuring every milestone is met and projects stay on schedule from design through closeout.
Proactively manage all phases of each project—tracking deadlines, permitting progress, delivery coordination, installation schedules, and final completion.
Collaborate closely with Assistant Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Field Managers who handle on-site activities, enabling you to focus on keeping projects moving smoothly behind the scenes.
Client Communication & Relationship Management
Serve as the primary client liaison, maintaining consistent, proactive weekly communication to build trust, manage expectations, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Ensure clients are informed about upcoming deliveries, installations, payments, and approvals to maintain momentum and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Address client inquiries promptly and professionally, resolving issues quickly and effectively to uphold SYZYGY’s luxury service standards.
Revenue & Financial Accountability
Drive revenue by overseeing change order submissions and ensuring timely client approvals and payments.
Work closely with internal teams and accounting to confirm billing milestones are met and projects are financially on track.
Lead project closeout activities, ensuring all documentation is complete, final payments are collected, and projects are closed cleanly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Systems Management
Partner effectively with internal teams (Design, Sales, Field Operations) to synchronize schedules and maintain seamless workflows.
Utilize Salesforce and other cloud-based tools to meticulously track project status, update client records, and manage follow-ups and action items.
Maintain rigorous operational discipline to ensure data accuracy and visibility across the organization.
What We’re Looking For:
Construction or Project Management Background: 10+ years managing construction or design-driven projects, with experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, complex timelines, field teams, inspections, permits, and vendor relationships.
Exceptional Organizational Skills: Skilled at managing 50–70 concurrent projects with precision, strong attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
Client-Focused Communicator: Comfortable managing client relationships with clear, professional communication and strong written and verbal skills to set expectations and build rapport.
Highly Efficient & Tech-Savvy: Strong proficiency with Apple devices and cloud-based project management software (Salesforce preferred), with the ability to leverage tools for maximum operational efficiency.
Collaborative Team Player: Skilled at working alongside field and support teams, coordinating efforts without direct field supervision.
Solution-Oriented & Accountable: Takes ownership of project outcomes, anticipates challenges, and drives projects to successful, on-time completion.
Problem Solving: Proactive and resourceful, with a knack for resolving issues before they become delays.
Benefits & Perks:
Paid Time Off: Eligible for PTO after 90 days.
Top-Tier Insurance: Company-paid health, dental, and vision insurance.
Paid Holidays: Enjoy a holiday break from Christmas through New Year’s Day, in addition to standard paid holidays.
Wellness Wednesdays: Weekly yoga and mindfulness sessions to reset and recharge.
Gym Reimbursement Program: Support for your fitness and wellness goals.
On-Site Chiropractic Care: Bi-weekly sessions to support physical health and performance.
Growth Opportunities: Be part of an exciting, high-growth company with room to develop and evolve your role.
Job Type
Full-time, in-office role. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
Location
Delray Beach, FL. Applicants must reliably commute or be planning to relocate before starting work.
Compensation
Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and wellness perks.
