KSHR is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Business Development Manager to help grow our client base and expand market presence. KSHR provides strategic HR leadership and people systems that help businesses build stronger teams, healthier cultures, and better business results through Fractional HR support, HR foundation-building, operational stability services, performance and scaling solutions, and specialized add-on services.
This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a consultative environment, enjoys building trusted relationships, and can connect business leaders with practical HR solutions that support growth and performance. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying opportunities, leading outreach and discovery conversations, and converting qualified prospects into signed client engagements.
What You’ll Do
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects through outreach, networking, referrals, and relationship development.
- Introduce prospective clients to KSHR’s core service ladder, including Foundation, Operational Stability, and Performance & Scaling solutions.
- Position KSHR’s Fractional HR services for organizations that need senior HR leadership without the cost of a full-time hire.
- Promote add-on services such as Recruiting Execution, Compensation Design, HR Tech Stack Implementation, Leadership Development, and Compliance Audits.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand client goals, team challenges, operational pain points, and HR support needs.
- Work closely with KSHR leadership to align opportunities, shape solutions, and support proposal development and close strategy.
- Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, opportunities, and revenue forecasts.
- Represent KSHR professionally in meetings, business development conversations, and external networking opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in business development, sales, account growth, or client acquisition, ideally in HR, consulting, professional services, or other B2B services.
- Demonstrated ability to sell consultatively and build trust with founders, executives, and decision-makers.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to uncover client needs and translate them into business solutions.
- Confidence working independently, managing your own pipeline, and driving opportunities from first conversation through close.
- Comfort working in a commission-based environment where earnings are tied to results.
