Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Position Overview: Join the ranks of Coral Gables’ premier luxury automotive dealership as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk at THE COLLECTION. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and precise handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments, supporting the seamless operation of our parts department. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help maintain the high standards that define our premier dealer. Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and process all incoming shipments with the utmost care, ensuring that all items meet our stringent quality standards and are accurately documented.
• Maintain an organized and efficient storage system, ensuring that all parts and accessories are easily accessible and properly accounted for in our inventory management system.
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments with attention to detail, ensuring that all orders are packed securely, labeled correctly, and dispatched in a timely manner to meet client expectations.
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and digital records related to shipping and receiving activities, maintaining clear and concise logs that support inventory accuracy and accountability.
• Work closely with the parts department, service team, and other dealership staff to ensure that all parts are delivered to the appropriate destinations within the dealership and that any discrepancies are promptly addressed.
• Conduct regular inspections of stored items to ensure that they remain in pristine condition, reflecting the luxury standards of the organization.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of shipping and receiving processes, contributing to the overall success of the parts department and the dealership as a whole.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management, ideally within a luxury or high-end automotive dealership environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling, documenting, and tracking shipments and inventory.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using inventory management software and modern technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments within the dealership.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. regularly, and stand, walk, and move throughout the parts and service areas for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach frequently, ensuring that all items are handled with care and precision in a luxury environment.
• Proficient in safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, maintaining the safety and luxury standards of the organization.
