The Role: Receptionist

We're looking for a dependable, friendly, and highly organized Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for potential and current clients, you are the voice and face of our firm. You’ll set the tone for their entire experience—often during some of the most difficult moments in their lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and assist all visitors, clients, and callers

• Answer phone calls and direct them professionally and accurately

• Schedule consultations and manage the calendar

• Handle incoming mail, deliveries, and general correspondence

• Keep the reception area clean, welcoming, and professional

• Assist attorneys and paralegals with basic administrative tasks

• Ensure every client feels safe, heard, and confident they’ve chosen the right firm

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• A professional, empathetic, and confident demeanor

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with legal software is a plus

• Bilingual (Spanish, Haitian Creole, etc.) is highly valued

• Previous law office experience is a bonus, but not required
