Order Entry Specialist

A growing and fast-paced organization in the property insurance services industry is seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry Specialist to join its operations team.

This is a foundational role responsible for ensuring accurate intake and processing of materials submitted for laboratory analysis.

The ideal candidate thrives in a structured, high-volume environment where precision and speed are critical.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter customer, claim, and sample information into a proprietary database from both physical and digital submissions
• Receive and log incoming property samples (flooring, roofing, siding, etc.) to ensure proper tracking through the testing process
• Review incoming orders for completeness and accuracy; follow up with customers or adjusters to resolve discrepancies or missing details
• Monitor order status to support timely processing and meet expedited turnaround standards (24–48 hours)
• Partner with internal lab technicians and customer service teams to provide updates on priority claims

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Fast and efficient alpha-numeric data entry skills (high WPM required)
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and learning proprietary systems or CRM platforms
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Prior data entry, order processing, logistics, or administrative experience preferred
