Traffic/Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Engineer - Entry Level

We are looking for a collaborative Entry level Traffic/ITS Engineer to join our Florida & Puerto Rico group of transportation planners, traffic / ITS engineers and operations specialists with a wide variety of talent and experience. As our newest team member, you’ll play a supporting role in the development of plans, specifications and estimates for intelligent transportation systems, traffic signal design, traffic studies and other traffic engineering work tasks. Joining our team, you’ll have the chance to apply your experience to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your ITS and traffic expertise to create innovative solutions.
This position can be located in any Jacobs office in Florida.
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain.
- Strong technical writing and oral communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and able to travel for site visits
Ideally, You'll also have
- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge and experience using CADD/MicroStation

The base salary range for this position is $58,656.00 to $85,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
