MANUFACTURING & DESIGN ENGINEER

A. Create, or review, all quotes for products to be manufactured at Florida factory.

B. Work with production to resolve all manufacturing issues when required, build fixtures when needed and research equipment needed.

- Work with Sales to quote new products. This shall include specifying materials, creating operation sequences and rates, reviewing customer supplied data, and sending Sales any questions for the customer.

- Work with Sales to create new designs

- Work with Manufacturing Manager to help determine production schedule as needed.

- Assist Manufacturing Manager, when necessary, to set up production equipment and train operators on processes.

- Review finished production data to determine accuracy of operation rates.

- Work with Quality Coordinator and Manufacturing Manager to resolve any quality issues that arise during production.

- Build and test prototypes.

- When necessary, handle the quality responsibilities of the Quality Coordinator.

- When necessary, handle the job responsibilities of the Manufacturing Manager.

- Along with Manufacturing Manager and Quality Coordinator, maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations and company policies. When necessary, create/build items needed for safety compliance.

- Other jobs or duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

-Salary Commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
