Accounts Payable Associate

ICP Group is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Associate for our Tampa, FL plant. The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for ensuring that AP Outlook Email boxes are always organized and cleared out and assisting with responding to emails, vendor statements and inquiries. This person is an integral part of the Accounting Team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join our Accounts Payable Team. This position requires good time management, attention to detail and follow-through tasks

This position is based in Tampa, FL and is hybrid - 3 days in the office and 2 remote.

In this role, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Maintain electronic filing system for financial information, records and documents to ensure easily available information.
• Answer telephone and email inquiries from both internal and external parties; follow up in a timely manner.
• Work in Outlook AP Mailbox. Move and organize emails and invoices for AP Team
• Assist with preparing back up for document retention services.
• Assist with account and statement reconciliations.
• Assist with accruals, financial audits and other special projects as needed.
• Assist AP Team with researching 1099 data.
• Maintain confidentiality of information

Qualifications:

• A high school degree or equivalent
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel)
• Ability and willingness to communicate with individuals at all levels of the company.
• Detail oriented manor with capability to multi-task and self-direct, while remaining organized and able to prioritize basic information/tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills, including written and verbal communication while maintaining a customer first mentality.
• Experience with ERP system a plus
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and takes a proactive approach.
