Position Summary

As a Dishwasher, you play a critical role in keeping the kitchen operating efficiently by ensuring all dishes, cookware, utensils, and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for service. You'll also assist with maintaining a clean and organized kitchen while supporting the culinary team wherever needed.

This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Operate the commercial dish machine safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dish area throughout the shift
• Empty trash and recycling throughout the restaurant as needed
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors during and after service
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries when needed
• Support the culinary team with basic prep or cleaning tasks as assigned
• Ensure cleaning chemicals are used safely and stored properly
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Complete opening and closing cleaning responsibilities
• Assist teammates whenever needed to help ensure a successful service

Previous restaurant experience is helpful but not required. We are happy to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in hot, wet, and fast-paced kitchen conditions
• Basic understanding of sanitation and safety practices preferred
• Florida Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain, if required)
